Explain a complex breast cancer treatment option clearly and quickly, in a shareable format that supports screening and informed questions.
Breast cancer treatment information is often dense, clinical, and hard to act on. Patients and families facing an early stage diagnosis have to absorb complex options quickly, usually without a clear, plain language explanation. The goal was to make one newer option, Intraoperative Radiation Therapy, understandable in under a minute and easy to share.
Seer Productions produced a 47 second motion graphic explainer on IORT, a single session radiation treatment used in select early stage cases. The piece uses clean visual storytelling and on screen data to show how IORT can reduce total radiation to healthy tissue and cut down time away from work and family, without overwhelming the viewer.
The explainer gives clinics, advocates, and patients a short, shareable tool that supports breast cancer awareness and informed conversations. It turns a complicated treatment concept into something a patient can watch, understand, and pass along in under a minute.
